Stepper motors

Encoder stepper motors: Stepper motors are designed for intermittent operation. Stepper motors receive a holding current in an intermediate state. Heating can be moderated by reducing the holding current. Encoder stepper motors are Nema size standard. The torque range: 0.5 Nm-12Nm. The encoder type steppers are equipped with encoders which helps the precise positioning tasks.
The operating temperature is between -20C and +60C. Optimum speed 150-300 1/min. Every stepper motor needs a stepper motor controller and a signal generator, which can be a PLC fast output or other printed circuit board solution.

Bipolar Stepper Motors: Stepper motors are designed for intermittent operation. Stepper motors receive a holding current in an intermediate state. Heating can be moderated by reducing the holding current. Bipolar stepper motors are Nema size standard. The torque range: 0.18 Nm-33Nm. The operating temperature is between -20C and +60C. Optimum speed 150-300 1/min. They do not contain an encoder. Stepper motors need a stepper motor controller and a signal generator, which can be a PLC fast output or other printed circuit board solution.

Bipolar Stepper motor driver: Element required for controlling bipolar stepper motors. It is important that the phase current of the stepper motor has to be smaller than the controller!

Encoder stepper motor drivers: Element required for controlling stepper motors equipped with encoders.  It is important that the phase current of the stepper motor has to be smaller than the controller!
