Temperature sensors (Pt100, Pt1000, J, K)
Temperature sensors (Pt100, Pt1000, J, K): Industrial sensors used to detect gases, liquids. It can be connected directly to a resistor input module in a PLC or connected to a "normal" analog input with TxBlock (measuring head), IsoRail (DIN rail) converters. Different types differ in temperature ranges and measurement principles.
Pt100 Thermocouple: Used for platinum resistance (RTD) temperature measurement. PT100 is mostly used to measure temperatures below 500C. TxBlock can be integrated in the encapsulated version. Its wires can be silicone or fiberglass.
Type J thermocouple: Fe-Ko thermocouple temperature sensor for heat ranges lower than Pt100 but with more economical pricing.
Type K thermocouple: Measurement with Ni-CrNi thermocouple. A sensor operating on a similar principle to the J type, but with a higher heat tolerance. Can be used up to 1000C.
