Omron NX PLC expansion modules
Omron NX PLC Expansion Module: New series of Omron PLCs with faster computing capabilities than their predecessors can be expanded with I / O Link communication modules and are economical in terms of performance.
Omron NX PLC Digital I / O Module: Input and output expansion modules for modular PLCs that operate with a "1" or "0" digital signal at 5V or 24V. Output type can be Transistor, including PNP or NPN input and output. The relay output implements the switching of higher currents (usually more than 400mA).
Omron NX PLC Analog I / O Module: Compared to a digital I / O module, analog modules do not works with simple bit communication but voltage or current which transforms to range. The input is usually served by analog sensors, which convert the above-mentioned voltage or analog ranges to a certain unit (temperature, distance). They are generally suitable for PT100, PT1000, RTD thermocouple input or laser distance measurement, moreover suitable for operating almost all analog sensors and value display devices due to their wide voltage and current ranges.
Omron NX PLC Motion and Position Control Module: These modules are specifically designed for the combined use of servo and stepper motors and rotary encoders, for the most accurate motion control possible. Multi-axis synchronous drives can be performed with the help of positioning modules. The pulse output module is suitable for controlling controllers using a pulse-dir signal (e.g. servo and stepper motors) and the pulse input module is suitable for receiving the signal of sensors generating a pulse signal (e.g. encoder).
Omron Communication and Safety Module: The communication modules implement a high-speed data connection between the machine and the machine via EtherCAT. Required safety controllers for industrial safety devices (light curtains, door switches, etc.) that comply with SIL or PL standards. These modules can now be expanded up to 1024 safety I / O points
